Tessa James and Nate Myles await the birth of first child

She announced she was five months her first child back in August.

And Tessa James, 29, and her retired NRL star husband Nate Myles, 32, shared a loved up selfie on Thursday as they eagerly await the arrival of their bundle of joy, due very soon.

In the candidly captured selfie, the former Home And Away star looked glowing.

Meanwhile, the retired athlete sported a clean buzz cut, suited for the summer months, and a plain shirt.

Captioning the post with coffee cup emojis, Tessa’s post generated plenty of compliments from her fans including one who wrote: ‘Awakening.’

The actress replied back saying: ‘trying to stay awake,’ with a laughing face emoji.

Back in November, Tessa shared a heartfelt post about her health and well-being three years on from beating Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

‘Today and everyday, I am so grateful for my health,’ Tessa told her 101,000 Instagram followers, at the time.

‘Sometimes you don’t realise how important it is until you come face to face with a situation like mine,’

‘Like everyone, I have my off days and that is very normal but over the past few years I have put such an important focus on both my physical and mental health since overcoming Cancer,’ she wrote.

‘Sometimes you don’t realise how important it is until you come face to face with a situation like mine (and many other life threatening diseases).’   

Earlier in the year, Tessa made a triumphant return to acting starring in a production of Australian play Blackrock at Sydney’s Seymour Theatre.
