A girl who inadvertently put her make-up to the ultimate test of endurance has earned herself viral fame after sharing an over-the-top account of how her beauty products survived a car crash and subsequent trip to the hospital.
The Texas resident, known only as Sofia, posted her hilarious, and rather dramatic, review of the NYX Matte Finish Makeup Setting Spray on the beauty store Ulta’s website – where it was quickly picked up by other make-up fans and shared across social media.
Giving the product a five-star rating, Sofia proceeded to reveal how the setting spray had helped her flawless face of make-up to survive being hit by a car in the rain, as well as an ambulance ride, and a several-hour stay in hospital.
Texas girl Sofia gave a shocking and raving online product review of face setting spray, saying after she was hit by a car and rushed to the hospital her makeup stayed ‘completely intact’
It’s a hit! Other users also rated the spray as five stars on the Ulta website, but with less drama
On fleek: Ulta comments all paled in comparison to Sofia’s unintentional product test
Long-lasting wear! Sofia learned the spray would stand the test of time after she was hit by car and spent hours in the hospital and her makeup miraculously surfaced unscathed
‘I was hit by a car and through the hit itself, the rain, the ambulance ride, and the hours in the hospital my makeup stayed completely intact the entire time.’
Sofia got right to the point with her crazy day, but stressed that through thick and thin, her make-up was unscathed, with her foundation likely intact, her crease cut and highlight unfading.
‘When I was discharged from the hospital I had to take off my makeup and none of it had moved. If this setting spray can survive being hit by a car then that’s all the proof I need and I’ll definitely be buying it again,’ she added.
Sofia was sold on the product and other users seemed to agree, also rating the product a five, but with less dramatic success stories.
