Accused: Esmeralda Marie Medellin, 18, sexually abused a boy, 4, she was babysitting, police said. The boy told his mom she had made him perform a sex act on her, they said
A Texas babysitter who was left in charge of a four-year-old boy forced him to perform a sex act on her, a court heard this week.
Esmeralda Marie Medellin, 18, was arrested on Thursday for the alleged sexual assault, which police say occurred on March 28.
The little boy told his mom that Medellin had made him perform the act, and she then called police while the babysitter was still in the home, My San Antonio reported.
The boy also said that she also performed a sex act on him, according to KENS5.
According to an arrest affidavit, the boy and Medellin were both taken to a hospital for a sexual assault examination.
The results of that examination came in last Wednesday, and said that DNA found on Medellin’s breast belonged to the boy, police said.
The test also found male DNA on her genitals, but there was not enough to make a positive comparison with the boys’ DNA.
Medellin was taken to a police station on the night of the alleged assault, where she denied the allegations.
After the test results came back, she arrested on suspicion of aggravated sexual assault of a child.
She has been released from Bexar County Jail Friday on $75,000 bail.
Released: His DNA was found on her breast and male DNA on her genitals, cops said – though the male DNA was reportedly not large enough in quantity to match to the boy. Medellin has since been released from Bexar County jail (pictured) on $75k bail
