That’s one way to cheer them on! Carol Vorderman sports a Wales jersey and skintight leather trousers as she gets her groove on ahead of rugby game

Carol Vorderman showed her support for the Welsh rugby union team ahead of their clash against Australia on Saturday.

The media personality, 61, showed off her age-defying figure in a pair of skintight leather trousers, which she teamed with a Wales jersey, as she danced around in a clip ahead of the game.

The blonde bombshell recorded the clip in the BBC Wales studio and danced with co-host Nathan Sussex to KC and the Sunshine Band’s Please Don’t Go.

Carol looked incredible in her outfit, which showed off her gym-honed figure.

She wore her long locks out and over her shoulders in tousled curls and natural-looking makeup.

Carol happily danced along to the song and showed off her moves and at one point lowered herself down to the ground while grooving.

Despite putting on a spirited display in the video, the Welsh Rugby team lost the match against Australia, with a 39-34 final score.

‘Thanks for listening to us both on BBC Radio Wales… see you next week,’ her post began.

‘I’m off to the game, COME ON CYMRUUUU [Wales],’ she added.

Carol is a proud Welsh woman and earlier this year she stripped off into a red and black bikini to show her support for her home team in the Six Nations.

Carol looked incredible in the sporty swimwear as she snapped a selfie while enjoying the view of the stunning Welsh coastline from her home in Wales.

Carol’s main home is in Bristol but she splits her time between Bristol, Cardiff and west Wales.

After travel restrictions meant she couldn’t return to her Pembrokeshire coastal retreat for months in 2020, Carol gushed about her reunion with Wales in an Instagram post last year.

‘Finally after the lockdown has been lifted slightly, I could come home. I grew up in North Wales and to see the sea and the mountains and the cows and sheep and green green grass (cue @realsirtomjones)…it fills my heart to bursting point,’ she wrote at the time.

Speaking to Hello! Magazine in 2021, Carol admitted she hopes to one day live in Wales full time.

‘I am a wanderer; I’ve always been a wanderer. I love making homes, but I don’t want to be in them very much,’ she explained.

‘I live between west Wales, a bit of Cardiff and Bristol. I think progressively that will become all Wales. Well, soon. I am Welsh, and I love it. I want to spend much less time in London working – that’s a decision of mine. I’m only doing the things that I want to do.’
