The Apprentice SPOILER: Francesca berates an irritated Aaron for failing to catch any pollock

The 12 remaining contestants on The Apprentice will find themselves in choppy waters on the latest episode where they all take part in a fish-themed challenge.

Preview clips from Thursday’s show see Francesca berating fellow hopeful and teammate Aaron for failing to catch any pollock as they run into trouble onboard a trawler.

The episode will also see Amy’s team left in a frenzy as they try to create arancini balls to sell to the public, but disagree with their sub team on the right ingredients to include.

Oh dear: Francesca berates an irritated Aaron for failing to catch any pollock during a disastrous fish-themed challenge on this week’s episode of The Apprentice

In one of the preview clips, Francesca, Aaron and Nick were seen on board a fishing boat, where Francesca successful catches a huge hall.

She then notices that Aaron isn’t having quite the same amount of luck and tells him off, saying: ‘Come on boys! Catch up! Aaron are you on?’

He then quips back saying: ‘I know how to fish!’

To which she replies: ‘Well you’re not catching any though. Come on. There’s lots of fish down there so if you’re not catching it you’re not working hard enough. See it’s easy. just bring it in.

Aaron is then seen looked incredibly irritated at a pushy Francesca as he gives the task another go.

A separate spoiler scene sees Amy, Stephanie and Sophie prepping their arancini balls to sell to the public, and are checking out the ingredients they have.

Amy then queries what they might sell alongside the balls, saying: ‘What are we going to upsell?’

On the other end of the phone, Alex says: ‘Look with the ingredients that we have got it tastes amazing, to upsell it we have given an English take on an Italian dish.’

Stephanie then butted in saying: ‘No I don’t think you understand, there are no added value products like chips we can add and charge an extra two pounds.’

After putting the phone down on the boys she added: ‘I honestly feel like they had a breakdown in London, and completely forgot what we were doing here and why we’re here.’

It comes after last week Navid Sole became the latest contestant to bid farewell to a coveted Lord Sugar business investment – but firmly believes it should have been fellow hopeful Sophie Wilding getting the boot.

The 27-year-old pharmacist said that the cocktail bar owner, 32, ‘threw him under the bus’ after they competed on the same team attempting to make booze-free versions of the nation’s top tipples.

But teamwork failed to make the dream work, evidenced in their boardroom clash where Cheltenham-born Sophie criticised Navid’s lack of input – something he vehemently disagreed with.

Speaking in an exclusive interview, the budding businessman said: ‘I feel like Sophie threw me under the bus. I feel like she should’ve been the one fired because I made the most amount of sales compared to Steph [Affleck], Amy [Anzel] and Sophie combined together.

‘If you make more sale – that should speak for itself. If I made zero sale or if I wasn’t contributing – I wanted to do the pitch as well. But Sophie again removed me from the pitch!

‘In the boardroom, she used that as a target, “oh Navid you didn’t contribute much” – I knew she was going to do that. At the end of the day, I stayed true to myself, I did fight for it. And I don’t take s**t from anyone!’

Despite saying, in jest, that Sophie was ‘blacklisted’, the Londoner expressed hopes that once the ‘fiasco’ concludes, the cast will be able to ‘hang out and chill.’

When questioned on what he’d do differently, he quipped: ‘I would’ve been a bit more of a b****h!’ before adding, seriously, ‘I should’ve raised my voice more.’

Navid may have refrained from lifting the lid on ‘behind-the-scenes secrets’, but he was quick to entertain with his complaints about the ‘tiny’ beds.

Angry: On the other end of the phone, Alex says: 'Look with the ingredients that we have got it tastes amazing, to upsell it we have given an English take on an Italian dish'

‘The house shocked me. The beds we had were so tiny. My legs were sticking out of the bed! I was only getting three to four hours sleep. My face was horrible and disgusting – I didn’t have time to look after myself!

‘It’s a big transition, going from your king-size bed with the Versace cover, to a single bed with a single duvet. I’m a guy who has five pillows around me!’ he said.

The Nicki Minaj super fan also entertained with stories of his ‘s****y cooking, which he divulged had caused a bout of diarrhoea among the group.

The Apprentice continues tonight at 9pm on BBC One, followed by You’re Fired on BBC Two. Watch live and on-demand on BBC iPlayer.
