What do Burning Man, a swimming pool in China and a chapel that looks like a manta ray have in common?
They’re all the stars of an international photography competition.
Twenty photographs have been revealed as the shortlist for this year’s prestigious Arcaid Images Architectural Photography Awards.
The shortlist will be whittled down to one winner at the World Architecture Festival in Berlin. It’s held from November 15-17 and is aimed at interior designers and architects.
Visitors will be able to vote for their favourite photograph and the winner will be announced at the WAF Gala Dinner.
