His third Test match as the Australian cricket captain resulted in a nail-biting draw over the weekend.

And Pat Cummins took a well-deserved day off on Monday when he hit the shops in Sydney’s Double Bay with his fiancée Becky Boston and their newborn son Albie.

Becky’s mother Janie was on hand to give the couple a break.

Becky, to whom Cummins became engaged in February 2020, showed off her toned legs in a pair of short shorts.

On her upper half she wore a light-coloured buttoned shirt over a white T-shirt.

Becky last year shared a tribute to Pat after he was announced as the new Test captain.

‘Congratulations on your captaincy my darling, I couldn’t be prouder of you,’ she wrote on Instagram at the time.

‘I’m sorry it’s a day late, I’m a bit time poor at the moment. We love you,’ she added.

Pat’s captaincy suffered its first hiccup over the weekend, when the top ranked bowler made a conservative declaration while pushing for a win over England.

He set their Ashes opponents an astronomical 388 run target for victory – double what any touring side has ever chased for victory at the Sydney Cricket Ground.

The late declaration, along with rain delays, meant Australia were only able to take nine of the ten wickets required for victory, and England were able to salvage a draw.

Australia still lead 3-0 in the best of five test series.
