Matt Agnew confirmed his new romance with comedian Gen Fricker on Thursday as the couple posed on the red carpet at the Being the Ricardos premiere in Sydney.
The Bachelor star, 34, and the radio host, 32, had been spotted together on several occasions in recent weeks, but ‘hard-launched’ their romance with a loved-up photo at the glitzy screening at the Cremorne Orpheum Theatre.
While astrophysicist Matt initially walked the red carpet solo, he later beckoned his partner over and they posed for several pictures together.

They then sat next to each other in the auditorium, chatting while surrounded by A-list stars such as Taika Waititi, Rita Ora and Keith Urban.
For the occasion, Matt looked dapper in a navy suit and white shirt, while Gen turned heads in a hot pink pantsuit and yellow sunglasses.
The couple had attended the premiere of West Side Story at the State Theatre in Sydney a day earlier, but didn’t pose together on the red carpet.

Matt had sent the rumour mill into a frenzy last week when he shared a photo with Gen at the Don’t Look Up screening in Sydney.
He posted the image on Instagram, and captioned it: ‘Funny movies with funny people.’
Gen is a comedian, actress and radio presenter who has performed at the Sydney Comedy Festival.
Just a few months ago, rumours were rife that Matt was dating his Bachelor runner-up Abbie Chatfield again.
