During the third episode of The Bachelor it was Vanessa Sunshine that came out on top, winning the first competition of the season.
And her reward was one-on-one time with the beloved Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins.
However the pair failed to have any kind of chemistry whatsoever leaving some very uncomfortable and awkward silences.

‘From what I’ve seen, Vanessa doesn’t smile a great deal. But I haven’t spent that much time with her,’ Nick said to the viewers.
‘She’s probably a barrel of laughs. So, tonight, it’s a good opportunity for me to get down there, and see if I can expose those pearly whites.’
Unfortunately for The Honey Badger, he lost out, exposing nothing but a cold-hearted frown and mopey face.
‘Well, pull up a stump. Vanessa, good to finally spend some time with you.’ SO what are you looking for in in a guy?
‘Um… ..yeah, just someone honest and…Yeah, yep…’ she replied.
‘Er…okay do you have any dad jokes?’ he asked after exhaling forcefully.
‘No, I don’t get them,’ she said.
‘You don’t understand them or you don’t get them…?’ Nick said.
‘Like, I get it but I don’t get why people think it’s funny,’ she answered.
The cringeworthy date didn’t end there, after Nick felt zero chemistry while on the date.
‘I haven’t seen Vanessa laugh, so it comes down to four things I believe. It’s either A, our connection isn’t ideal. B, she doesn’t like laughing. C, she doesn’t like smiling. Or D, my jokes aren’t funny. We all know that’s not it, so it’s gotta be A, B, or D,’ NIc told the viewers.
And unlucky for Vanessa the sun was not shining this time, leaving her walking away from the date flowerless with a red rose and without a kiss from the eligible stud.
