The Bachelorette spoiler scandal takes a twist as Brooke Blurton responds to winner leak claims

Twist in Bachelorette ‘spoiler’ scandal as Brooke Blurton responds to fan who claimed they saw her ‘sneaking into a contestant’s home on the Gold Coast’

The Bachelorette was hit by a spoiler scandal this week after a fan claimed Brooke Blurton was secretly shacking up with front-runner Darvid Garayeli at his home in Queensland.

Yet on Wednesday, Brooke categorically denied swirling rumours that Darvid has won her heart, insisting that she hasn’t set foot near his home for years.

‘All these rumours are hilarious,’ the 26-year-old told Nova 100 when confronted with the claims.

‘I literally can’t even remember the last time I was in Queensland!’ The Bachelorette’s Brooke Blurton, 26, (left) has denied rumours she’s been secretly shacking up with front-runner Darvid Garayeli, 27, (right) at his home in Queensland

‘I literally can’t even remember the last time I was in Queensland! I love that people are so invested in my love story though,’ she added.

It came after a Bachelorette super-fan wrote on Facebook that her parents live opposite Darvid’s home, and that Brooke had been staying at his place on the Gold Coast.

‘Trying to be secretive, blinds shut, parking all the way at back of driveway etc but my sisters saw [Brooke] and the suitcases she had in her Insta story late last week too, when Darvid was getting her in/out of the car,’ the fan wrote, as reported by gossip website The Wash.

Darvid emerged as the early favourite to win Brooke’s heart, with all major betting agencies offering short odds on him being the last man standing.

The hunky landscaper is tipped by Sportsbet to win with odds of $1.33.

TAB is even more certain of his victory, paying out $1.12.

During the season premiere, Darvid was awarded the ‘first impression rose’, which guaranteed him the first single date and cemented his place as the front-runner.

This led to Brooke inviting him on a cliffside date in the Blue Mountains – the same date location that led to past Bachelorettes and Bachelors picking their winners.

In 2020, Elly Miles took Frazer Neate on a similar date when they visited the Scenic Skyway tourist attraction.

And in 2013, Tim Robards took his now-wife Anna Heinrich on the same Scenic Skyway date on top of the famous yellow cable car.

While Brooke didn’t actually take Darvid onto the Scenic Skyway, the similarities between the dates are undeniable.

Adventurous dates in the rugged Blue Mountains led to both Elly and Tim declaring their companions as their final pick.
