He is one of the favourites to win Ali Oetjen’s heart on The Bachelorette.

But Taite Radley has revealed he won’t be getting down on one knee if she chooses him in the finale.

Speaking to NW magazine, the 28-year-old bank manager said: ‘It’s one thing I didn’t really speak about prior to going into this experience – it was never a topic of conversation, like “I’m going on this show to get engaged”.’

Taite said he never thought about proposing when he first entered the Bachelor mansion.

‘I want to get to know them before getting down on one-knee,’ he continued. 

‘It’s a once in a life time – it’s not something I want to do again.’

He said he knows that Ali, 32, has been engaged in the past, so he doesn’t want to rush things.

While Taite has a strong connection with Ali, he says he’s very aware that many of her other suitors have had similar experiences with the blonde.

Taite previously revealed that it’s hard for him to let his guard down and he is happy to walk away if the feelings aren’t there.

However, there may be no need for Taite to make an exit just yet. 

Ali said she was starting to ‘fall in love’ with him during their single date on the Network Ten dating show.
