The Bachelor’s Brittany Hockley forced to take down her cringeworthy ‘love shrine’ dedicated to her Swiss footballer boyfriend Benjamin Siegrist after he admitted it was ‘weird’: ‘It’s for dead people!’
Brittany Hockley revealed on Thursday she will take down her ‘love shrine’ to her Swiss footballer boyfriend Benjamin Siegrist after he called it ‘weird’.
The former reality star, 35, admitted on her Life Uncut podcast she had some loved-up snaps of the pair, taken on a holiday in Paris, framed on a wall of her house.
The brunette beauty brought Benjamin onto the show with her and asked him and her co-host Laura Byrne if the shrine was really as bad as everyone said it was.
‘It is a little bit weird because a shrine is meant to be for dead people. It’s cute but it’s arranged like I’m deceased or something,’ Ben bluntly told her.
Laura, 37, added that public opinion was divided on the matter, because while their producer ‘went down hard’ against the shrine, many listeners supported Britt.

Brittany then said maybe the public didn’t like it because of its awkward design rather than the love it symbolised.
‘I’m not an interior designer. The criticisms were that the photos were too small and high on the wall,’ she said.
The Port Macquarie native later posted to Instagram she had finally reached a decision about what to do with the controversial photo wall.

‘Okay, I gotta go take my shrine down now…. Art recommendations needed but no palm trees, thanks,’ she joked.
Back in January, Brittany confirmed she was happily in love as she shared a video montage of her and Ben spending time together in Paris and Scotland.
‘From Paris, with love. Think I may have found me a keeper #hardestlaunch,’ she captioned the video.

The pair met in November on the celebrity dating app Raya and at the time, the 30-year-old goalkeeper’s soccer team, the Glasgow-based Celtic FC, was playing in Australia against Sydney FC.
The ‘hard-launch’ comes after Brittany accidentally revealed her famous boyfriend’s identity following months of teasing their romance.
She shared an image to her IG Stories that briefly flashed his face from the side and fans had been going wild for Brittany’s cryptic posts for a while, with many suspecting this brief glimpse was a ‘soft-launch’.
