‘We should call it a day’: The Bachelor’s Jimmy Nicholson confronts Stephanie Lynch about her motives – and it leads to an award-winning performance
Wednesday night’s episode of The Bachelor saw the mansion descend into chaos after Jimmy Nicholson confronted Steph Lynch about still being in love with her ex.
The 31-year-old Sydney pilot pulled the 27-year-old aside to get to the bottom of rumours that she still had feelings for her ex fiancé.
‘I guess when I saw you on the red carpet, I was like, “Wow”. From all the girls, you were someone that really, really stood out to me,’ Jimmy said.
It’s over! The Bachelor mansion descended into chaos on Wednesday night after Jimmy Nicholson confronted Steph Lynch (right) about still being in love with her ex
‘I was like, “Ok, this is awesome. There’s something there”. And then mum came in and met you all and mentioned the fact that you spoke about your ex,’ he told her.
A surprised Steph denied ever speaking about her ex, to which Jimmy replied: ‘I don’t wanna sit here and have an argument with you.’
‘Do you genuinely see something here with me? ‘Cause if not, I think we should just call it a day.’

‘I’m very happy to leave,’ a smug Steph replied, before she got up and walked away from the mansion.
‘Cool. See you, dude,’ she told cameras. ‘Am I ok? Yeah, dude. I’m (bleep) ecstatic. I would marry my ex a thousand times before I would get with Jimmy.’
Fans watching from home didn’t seem too surprised with the business development manager’s dramatic shock exit.
