The Bachelor’s Laura Byrne receives congratulatory flowers

She’s the Georgia Love lookalike, who’s tipped to win The Bachelor.

And if there was any lingering doubt about whether Laura Byrne will be crowned the winner, a special delivery to her Sydney home on Thursday may be the final proof. 

The 30-year-old accessories designer was sent congratulatory flowers ahead of the season 5 finale, suggesting she has plenty to celebrate.

The flowers are just the latest of what could be a series of possible clues, indicating that Laura has captured Matty J’s heart.

Earlier on Thursday, the brunette beauty seemed to let slip that she is the one who’s won Matthew ‘Matty J’ Johnson’s heart in an interview with Nova 96.9’s Fitzy & Wippa. 

Appearing on the radio show on Thursday, the accessories designer talked about herself and Matty exclusively in the present tense, while fellow finalist Elise Stacy used only the past tense.

‘You know when you meet someone who ticks the boxes and who you have a real connection with. You can’t fake that and when it happens, it happens,’ said Laura.

Elise, speaking as though her Bachelor experience was in the past, added: ‘I definitely knew that I was in love.’

Laura also seemed a lot more bright and breezy than Elise during their appearance on The Kyle & Jackie O Show that same morning. When Laura was asked how she’d felt when she told Matty she loved him on Wednesday’s episode, she seemed far from forlorn as she laughed and joked about the unforgettable moment. 

‘It’s such an awkward thing to do, to lay it all out there on the line when he can’t say anything back to you. So you’re like, ‘Cool, yeah, good chat!” she giggled.

But despite the lighthearted chat, as she arrived at the KIIS FM radio studios earlier in the day, Laura was looking decidedly glum.

And stepping into a waiting car after the interview to join former Hockeyroo Elise, Laura offered no clues, simply smiling politely.

Earlier this month, Laura and Matty, 30, were snapped embarking on a secret getaway.
