The Bachelors’ Luke Bateman has confirmed he has split from Ellie Rolfe.
Luke, 28, was one of three bachelors looking for love on last year’s version of the Channel Ten dating show and connected with Ellie, 29, while filming.
He eventually declared his love for the beauty therapist and they remained the only couple still together after the final episode.
In a statement released to Yahoo Lifestyle on Friday, Luke confirmed the split, saying ‘Ellie and I have separated and would like to keep our relationship private.’
‘Ellie has a soul that lights up every room she walks into and I will sorely miss it in my life,’ he added.

Earlier this month, eagle-eyed fans noted that Luke had deleted almost all traces of Ellie from his Instagram.
His followers quickly commented on one of his publicity photos, asking him to confirm if his relationship with Ellie was over.
‘Where are all the photos with Ellie? Don’t tell me that you guys broke up?’ one upset fan asked.

‘Bet she broke it off. Poor Luke,’ a second person added.
‘Hope they haven’t… but the signs are there,’ a third person chipped in and another wrote: ‘They’ve broken up’.
Meanwhile, Ellie posted a gallery of photos to Instagram capturing her attending Melbourne Fashion Week on Monday – and Luke was nowhere in sight.
Tellingly, she was seen posing with fellow Bachelors alum Thomas Malucelli, 35, with the two rocking their best angles together amongst their celebrity friends.

The pair fell in love in front of the cameras last year on series 11 of Channel Ten’s dating show.
In December, the couple appeared on The Project to reveal they’ve already cemented their union in a surprising fashion.
The genetically blessed duo told the panel they sealed the deal with fresh ink on the way to The Project studios, following a boozy lunch.
‘Yeah, we had an eventful day today,’ Rolfe told the co-hosts.
‘It was very spontaneous. We went out for lunch and had a few cocktails and got excited and thought it would be a good idea to get matching tattoos,’ she continued.
