And according to sources, The Bachelor’s Richie Strahan has been left ‘blindsided’ by the revelations.
‘Rich is totally heartbroken – he really is shattered. He feels as though his world , dreams and hopes have come crashing down overnight,’ a good pal told New Idea.

They added that it was like he had woken up in a nightmare.
In fact, according to the publication, since the news of Alex’s lesbian relationship broke, the rope technician has been refusing to eat or work and has been crying constantly.
That said, the 32-year-old is still hoping to reconcile with Alex, 26.
‘He wants a second chance and has asked her to take him back in a kind of begging way. But she is adamant there is no going back. He has cried about this. Another chance would make him happy,’ the source added.

Alex appears to be smitten with new ‘girlfriend’ Maegan.
Maegan, 31, and Alex met playing for local team Frankston Bombers in February and are thought to have developed feelings for each other over time.

A ‘friend’ of Alex told New Idea the couple were inseparable and had been spending most nights together.
‘It started a month ago with Maegan. They play footy together for the Frankston Bombers and Alex started to have feelings. As it turned out, those feelings were mutual,’ they revealed.
‘They are now inseparable, spending very few nights apart, but it was all a bit of a shock … up until this point Alex had only ever had relationships with men.’
Alex and Richie met last year on The Bachelor, with The Bachelor controversially choosing Alex over fan favourite Nikki Gogan.
Richie’s decision to choose Alex caused outrage with fans, leading him to be dubbed ‘Australia’s most hated man’ at one stage.
The couple celebrated their relationship’s early months with plenty of loved-up selfies, even doing a photoshoot with OK! magazine in November to celebrate Richie meeting Alex’s six-year-old son Elijah.
However it has since been speculated Alex and Richie secretly split in February this year with both refusing repeated requests to clarify their relationship status or do joint media interviews since then.
‘They were worried if they announced it their profiles would come falling down, so they decided to say nothing,’ a source allegedly told Woman’s Day earlier this month.
‘Alex felt like Richie was super-keen whenever there was a red carpet event and photo opportunity, but she had to beg him for time on their own,’ the insider added.
In February, Alex and Richie were pictured looking tense on a Perth street, and the mother-of-one appeared to have been crying.
Despite Alex looking distressed, Richie did not appear to offer any comfort to his partner, instead choosing to walk ahead of her.
NW magazine reported the couple had a ‘huge fight’ in public and a witness had allegedly claimed Alex’s eyes were ‘red raw from crying’.
In April, New Idea claimed they were struggling with the long distance relationship, with Alex residing in Mornington Peninsula while Richie lives in Perth.
The publication also claimed that Richie and Alex had been spending weekends apart recently.
‘Alex’s little boy Elijah had spent the weekend with his dad. Usually when this happens, she makes most of her time and heads straight to Perth to see Richie,’ an insider claimed.
‘The fact that they both spent the weekend alone is unusual.’
Richie hasn’t appeared on Alex’s Instagram account since late April. Alex last featured on Richie’s account in May.
Alex had also been photographed wearing her diamond ‘promise ring’, which Richie gave her in the show’s finale, sporadically.
Before her romances with Richie and Maegan, Alex was previously married to the father of her child, Joel Porter.
Alex gave birth to Elijah when she was just 19.
