Back in August Vienna posted an emotional summary of what happened to Facebook.

She wrote: ‘This is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to write. My little angels went to Heaven on Aug 5th. I don’t know why this happened and I pray the Lord gives me strength to understand why he needed my little girls.’

‘Your mommy will never forget you and I loved you both with my entire heart.’

The Florida-based reality star said that on August 3, an ultrasound revealed medical complications indicative of twin-to-twin transfusion, a condition in which ‘one twin takes more nutrients than the other’.

Vienna, who shot to fame of the fourteenth season of The Bachelor, said that while doctors initially said the situation was improving, her water later broke ‘due to the amniotic sacs rupturing’.

This led to a two-day stint in the hospital as medical personnel tried to save the unborn babies.

She added that doctors warned her that her life was in danger if she didn’t deliver the children, who had ‘a very slim chance’ of survival amid the problematic conditions.

Vienna said she did ‘everything to save them but their hearts stopped beating on day two which is also when [she] went into a septic shock with 104 fever’.

The reality star said that after the babies passed away, she was rushed into surgery and spent four days in an Intensive Care Unit.

She was subsequently ‘donating [her] little girls to science’ in hopes of sparing another woman the tragic experience she’s had as result of twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome.
