The Bachelor’s Zach Shallcross proposes to Kaity Biggar AGAIN on their second anniversary

Zach Shallcross got down on one knee and asked Kaity Biggar to marry him – again!

The former Bachelor, 28, used the occasion of the couple’s second anniversary as a couple to pop the question while they were enjoying a vacation in Lisbon, Portugal.

‘How lucky am I to get to say ‘yes’ to you twice!’ wrote Biggar, 30 next to a carousel of photos on social media that began with them cozying up together on a sailboat.

Shallcross reshared the post on his Instagram Stories, writing ‘I love you.’

The romantic proposal took place at just about sunset and included champagne and a new ring.

When Shallcross chose Biggar to be his bride at the end of season 27 of The Bachelor, he presented her with a gorgeous Neil Lane diamond ring.

Zach Shallcross, 28, took fiancée Kaity Biggar on a romantic sail boat trip for their second anniversary in Lisbon, Portugal, and the trip included a big surprise

For his second big ask, the influencer chose a large emerald cut stone on a simple gold band.

Former NFL player and Bachelor Jesse James Palmer offered his congratulations ‘YESSSSS ❤️❤️❤️8 more fingers to go,’ he wrote.

Former Bachelorette contestant Dotun Olubeko had praise for the couple.

‘@zachshallcross the realest dude and I’m fighting anyone that tell me otherwise. Congrats,’ he penned, adding, ‘@kaitybiggar, a heart twice the size deserves twice the engagements.’

Olubeko’s fiancée, former Bachelorette Charity Lawson seconded his opinion writing, ‘love you two omg ❤️❤️❤️❤️ we will raise a glass in a few weeks!’

One follower did question the need for a second proposal. ‘So umm getting engaged twice why is this necessary?’

The couple moved in together in January 2024 and were initially planning to walk down the aisle in 2025, however, Biggar revealed on a recent TikTok those plans were on hold.

‘First off, wedding update. So we had a wedding venue, everything, and we actually just didn’t sign it,’ she said.

Biggar revealed they were going to be paying for the wedding themselves and ‘having a wedding projected to cost $70K coming out of our pockets is just absolutely insane and not gonna happen,’ she told her followers earlier this month.

‘At this point Zach and I are just gonna reevaluate things, take a step back,’ she said.

‘Obviously we want to marry each other. We just want the best venue for the right price tag, as we all do.’

‘We also have the rest of our lives together, so it’s like, why are we rushing into anything? We’re just taking it day by day and loving being with each other and building our relationship more and more.’
