Married At First Sight couple Ellie Dix and Ben Walters were on rocky grounds during Intimacy Week.
The registered nurse, 32, was left disappointed after her groom mocked her as they enjoyed a romantic dinner together on Tuesday night.
After returning to their room, Ellie revealed in a video diary that Ben had mocked her after she told him she believed he was on the show for the right reasons.
‘Ben and I decided to go out for dinner and we were chatting about our expectations after the show,’ she began.
‘Then he asked me if I think he is here for the right reasons or if he is here trying to promote a podcast. And I said “yeah I think you are here for the right reasons” and he actually mocked me and it was really high pitch.’

Ellie admitted the incident made her feel ‘really awful’ as Ben was ‘belittling her’.
‘Honestly it struck a nerve and made me feel really really stupid. I thought he was just belittling me,’ she continued.
‘Why would you start that conversation and then make me feel so stupid. I feel really annoyed. The way he treated me was really awful and I don’t want to stand for that.’
‘Now I’m questioning if he is here for the right reasons because I don’t want to waste my time. I’m not here for the air time. Now I do have a little bit of doubt,’ she said.

An insider told Daily Mail Australia it will all unfold at a future commitment ceremony.
‘Lauren had no idea that Jono kept in contact with Ellie and found out during filming, and boy was she not happy,’ they said.
‘She was completely gobsmacked and felt humiliated by the end – but everyone else is happy for them.’
