Amazon Australia’s highly anticipated Prime Day shopping sale has officially launched online – offering more than 100,000 products at a discounted price.

Members across the country will have access to the 65-hour sale with local deals running until midnight July 13 and international deals continuing until 5pm AEST July 14.

Top big name brands include Apple, Bosch, Garmin, GHD, Lego, Nintendo, Samsung, North Face and Bosch are featured in the event, along with local Australian brands Nakie, Orbitkey, and Doggie Balm Co.

Those who don’t have an Amazon Prime account can sign up for a 30-day free trial to access the exclusive deals.

The sale event will be the perfect opportunity to shop in advance for Christmas and birthday gifts, as the popular Nintendo Switch is retailing for just $339 from $469 and the price of selected Garmin smartwatches has dropped 60 per cent.

The Garmin Fenix 6 Sapphire Smartwatch originally retailed for $1299 but now costs half price at $649.

Those interested in gaming can score 55 per cent off selected Nintendo Switch games and 30 per cent off selected PlayStation 5 games.

Other items that have been slashed by 40 per cent include selected Sony headphones, Razar laptops and Lenovo Monitors.
