The best-dressed celebrities at Oaks Day 2017

The fashion bar was set high for Kennedy Oaks Day at the Flemington Racecourse’s Birdcage.

Traditionally known as Ladies Day, celebrities rolled through the entrance into the private marquees on Thursday morning.

And while some stood out for all the wrong reasons, Jennifer Hawkins, Rebecca Harding and Rachael Finch were among those who looked feminine and on-trend.

Here, FEMAIL looks at some of the best-dressed celebrities of the Birdcage as Oaks Day gets well underway.

Whimsical in white: The Myer ambassador opted for a white and gold ensemble featuring a Roland Mouret dress, headpiece by Ezara/J and Oscar de la Renta earrings

She paired the structured number with a bejewelled Viktoria Novak crown, a Mimco clutch and simple Tony Bianco heels.

Rachael Finch also kept it feminine and floral in a pink and purple midi dress with playful cutouts while Nadia Bartel bucked tradition and swapped pretty pastels for a bold red Atoir dress that featured a large statement frill along the neckline.

Brooke Hogan also rocked the pink and red trend and paired her form-fitting pink dress with a chic hat from Melissa Jackson
