The Block 2021: See this year’s fully renovated homes before the series premiere

The Block is one of Australia’s most hotly-anticipated shows of 2021.

And fans are now able to take a glimpse at the newly-completed properties that will go under the hammer as the show kicks off in coming months.

Located in Bronte Court in Hampton – a suburb 14kilometres from Melbourne’s CBD –  The Block teams have built a series of suburban homes that each boast a unique twist.

Ready for auction! Take a glimpse at the newly-completed properties that will go under the hammer on The Block this year

One home features a wall of windows to the street along with French doors opening out onto a renovated deck area.

The garden also appears to be heavily landscaped with a mix of mature and maturing plants and trees.

Another home appears to be a more modern offering, with a dark-hued frontage and a black gate.

The home also features plenty of windows, some of which appear to be tinted.

A large driveway stretches across the front of the property, while a small garden sits at the rear.

One house which will certainly have the buyers lined up is number four which offers a cladded, federation style home.

Dark and light: Another home appears to be a more modern offering thanks to its dark paint, black fencing and strong, angular roof design

A pastel pink door sets the tone of the cute cottage, while a quirky wooden bench wraps around a large tree outside the front.

Elsewhere, another property features a conspicuous brick fence for privacy, along with near a near roof-height window.

The home also has an outdoor porch.

The team that designed the property appears to have kept to using simple materials for the renovation.

The beige colour certainly appears to make the house fade into the background, perfect for the less ostentatious buyer.

Certainly adding plenty of glamour to the set of homes is the two-storey home that features a long driveway.

Fenced: Another home offers brick fence for privacy along with near a near roof-height window

The white fence offers plenty of privacy, with the home appearing to have a Hamptons-inspired sensibility.

It features a large lock-up garage along with double doors at the front.

This month, a handful of industry professionals have been allowed to view the near-completed properties.

They have predicted the homes have the potential to break price records.

According to Domain.com, there are three reasons why the experts believe this year’s houses will fetch higher prices than in previous years.

Firstly, they are located in a quiet cul-de-sac, meaning the buyers will most likely be families.

Secondly, there is more land on offer for each property; and thirdly, all of the homes have a ‘pretty cool feature’ that has never been seen on The Block before.

Buyer’s advocate Emily Wallace, one of the experts who visited the homes, told the website each reno was ‘very different’ and tailored for the post-Covid market.
