The Block buyers’ agents reveal the WINNER of renovation show ahead of grand finale

They have been fan favourites on The Block all season.

And Steph and Gian, both 27, have once again been tipped as the team to beat on auction day this weekend.

The Block’s buyers agents are predicting the couple’s lavishly appointed House 4 in Melbourne’s Hampton East will take home the top prize when the Blockheads’ homes go under the hammer on Saturday.

Steph and Gian’s sprawling five-bedroom, four-bathroom home has been listed with a price guide of $2.8million-$3million.

Buyers agents Greville Pabst, Nicole Jacobs and Frank Valentic are also expecting a strong showing for Eliza and Liberty’s House 5, reports Relaestate.com.

Like House 4, House 5 is has a price guide of $2.8million-$3million.

Meanwhile, the Block agents believe Leah and Ash’s House 2, with a price guide of $2.7million-$2.9million, is also stirring up excitement among potential bidders.

However, the most interest is in Steph and Gian’s five-bedroom, four-bathroom property, which includes a ‘Jack and Jill’ kids bathroom and a huge walk-in dressing room in the master bedroom.

The house have been praised for its clever floor plan, exquisite attention to details, including top quality finishings and its sprawling scale.

Other highlights include a wine cellar, sculptured garden, entertainment deck and pool area.

Eliza and Liberty’s House 5 five-bedroom, four-bathroom pad, meanwhile, has attracted interest thanks to its impressive living spaces.

However, Leah and Ash’s five-bedroom, four-bathroom House 2, has had some buyers wondering why the couple installed a small kitchen in a such large home.

Elsewhere, Kyle and Leslie’s House 1 and Kristy and Brett’s House 3 have a price guide of $2.7-$2.9million.

The prices for The Block’s Charming Street homes are way above the median asking price for the neighbourhood.

The suburb, which is 19kms from the CBD and not as prestigious as neighbouring Brighton, Hampton or Sandringham, has a median of $1.53million for a four-bedroom pad, while a five-bedder usually fetches as much as $1.97million on average.

Block buyers’ agent Frank Valentic says that there has only been two sales of over 3million in the last two years.
