The Block judge Neale Whitaker unveils huge career move after quitting the show

The Block judge Neale Whitaker has revealed his next career move after quitting the renovation show earlier this year.

The beloved judge, 62, took to Instagram on Wednesday to announce he had developed a range of dinnerware in collaboration with Gro Urban Oasis.

The NSW-based interior design expert said he was ‘thrilled’ to announce his range of tableware, serveware, cutlery, glassware and napery.

Neale shared images of himself smiling while setting the table with a set of chic green and white tableware.

‘OK so the word is now officially out! I’m thrilled to announce my kitchen and dining collaboration with Gro Urban Oasis,’ he wrote in the caption to the post.

‘Two kitchen and dining collections – Everyday and Culinary – combine my love of food, design and living well.

‘I truly believe that good design should be accessible to everyone, every day.’

The beloved judge of the hit renovation show confirmed he would no longer be a regular on the Channel Nine juggernaut in May.

Whitaker took on a limited role as a judge last year to support his partner David as he faced serious health challenges.

‘In 2023 – as many of you will know – I took a break from The Block to spend more time with my partner David who was dealing with some serious health issues,’ Whitaker announced on social media at the time.

‘We all hoped that by this year I would be able to return full-time to the show, but life doesn’t always run to schedule,’ he continued.

‘David gets stronger with each passing month, but my decision remains to be at home as much as possible.’

Whittaker is expected to make guest appearances on the current season alongside judges Shaynna Blaze, Darren Palmer and newcomer Marty Fox.

The pair, who have been together for over two decades, married in 2022.

In 2021, David proposed and posted an image of himself and Neale before saying he was the ‘luckiest and happiest man in the world’ to be able to marry the TV star.
