‘It’s the most important show of our season and we’ve got absolutely no control… anything could happen,’ he began.

‘It’s probably the only show where in the finale we are sitting on the couch hoping for the best.’

Marty told TV Week magazine he believes the winner will be a toss-up between Steph and Gian and Eliza and Liberty.

‘Based on land size, northern orientation and the results of winning rooms, the clear frontrunners would be Houses 4 [Steph and Gian], and 5 [Eliza and Liberty],’ he explained.

However, Marty said any of the homes could smash price records in the inner Melbourne suburb.

‘I believe any of the homes this season could smash the suburb record in Hampton East [15km from the CBD in Melbourne’s East], which is in the early $3m range.’

Marty thinks Steph and Gian’s impeccable taste gives them an edge in the competition.

He complemented the couple’s master bedroom, saying it’s eye-catching aesthetic is attractive to buyers.
