The Block star Eliza Pashke shocks fans with ‘gross’ encounter she had with ‘disgusting’ plane passenger

The Block star Eliza Paschke shocked her fans on Thursday as she took to social media to share an unpleasant encounter she recently had with a ‘gross’ plane passenger.

The reality star, 38, shared a video to Instagram revealing she was grossed out after the man sitting next to her on a flight had a long coughing fit and spat out phlegm.

‘I was just on a flight and there was a guy next to me was “hocking a loogie”. He made those “hock” noise and then spat out, disgusting,’ Eliza began.

‘I truly think this is the most heinous, rude and disgusting thing you can do. He was doing this constantly, I so badly wanted to say something.’

She added while she understood the gentleman may have had a health issue, it was not appropriate to have a coughing fit on a crowded flight. 

The 9Honey columnist is currently on a luxury European getaway with her reality star sister Liberty, and they have been chronicling their trip to social media.

Earlier this week, Eliza revealed the one question about her dating life she hates being asked – and it’s something that many can relate to.

In a column for 9Honey, she admitted doesn’t like getting asked whether she is still single but is questioned about her relationship status at least ‘once a day.’ 

‘Other variations include, “Are you off the market yet?” and “have you found a man yet?” or “how are you still single?”,’ the fan favourite said.

She also confessed that people are often left ‘horrified’ that she is ’38 and not in a relationship.’

While admitting that most who ask the question probably mean well, Eliza confessed she found hearing the query so often ‘painstaking, patronising and tiresome’.

However, Eliza admitted to dealing with the irritating and invasive question with a sense of humour.

‘I often find myself joking in response, about how I’m a spinster who will be 90 and alone with nine cats,’ she said.

Elsewhere, Eliza defended her single status and described her current life as ‘fabulous’ and declared she was doing ‘what she wanted, when she wanted’.

‘There’s many reasons people are single, with a big one being they choose to be,’ she said, adding that she was leading her ‘best life’ right now.
