Mitch and Mark, who have been together for 18 years, also purchased a property in Newport on Sydney’s Northern Beaches in December 2019.
But despite the home sounding ‘amazing on paper’, they soon realised it needed ‘some renovating’ and ‘some saving’.
Aside from that, Mitch explained their TV earnings are ‘tucked away in an account’ that he doesn’t have access to.

Mitch and Mark said via a joint statement that they want to impart the knowledge that they learned through their own experiences.
‘We’ve learnt a lot from our own experiences of searching, buying, renovating and selling properties,’ they said.
‘We know how to look through the staging to see what a property is really offering, the good and the bad, and seeing the opportunities that others might not see in an ”ugly duckling” property that you can transform into a swan!’
The pair finished by saying they are fans of the UK series, with them wanting to add their personal touch to the show.
‘It’s going to be so much fun sharing our experience and knowledge,’ they said.
