The Block ‘villain’ Tanya Guccione proved she has a heart of gold on Thursday.
The 42-year-old makeup artist revealed she often rescues birds on her property.
Sharing a short clip to social media, the former contestant could be seen holding a bird that she had wrapped up in a blanket after saving it from her pool.
Guccione even joked she could be a ‘qualified ranger’.
‘The amount of time I rescue birds from our pool and bifold windows I should be a qualified ranger by now. He doesn’t seem happy hey,’ she captioned the Instagram story.

Last October Tanya opened up about her experience on The Block, two years after appearing on the reality renovation show.
The makeup artist, who was portrayed as a ‘villain’ during the 2021 season, was at the centre of the biggest cheating scandal in The Block’s 17-year history.
During season 17, she became public enemy number one after taking a photo of the production schedule early on in the season, giving her and husband Vito an unfair advantage.
Guccione has claimed Channel Nine offered ‘no help’ when upset fans and viewers began sending threats to the couple over the scandal, and says she has since spent ‘thousands’ of dollars on therapy.

‘I have the invoices to prove [my therapy costs],’ she told Woman’s Day.
She also believes Nine failed its ‘duty of care’ towards contestants.
‘There was no support. No counselling,’ she said.

‘The show has a responsibility to take care of their talent, that are making them hundreds of thousands of dollars. And I’m not talking about a pay cheque! But real care… care that matters.’
A Nine spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia all participants on The Block have support services during filming.
‘Nine takes its obligations in respect to the health and wellbeing of the participants of this program extremely seriously,’ she spokesperson said.

‘All participants have access to a check-in support service during filming and when the show is on-air.
‘Nine also have an additional service for participants should they like or need further individual and confidential psychological support. This service gives participants access to clinicians who have been specifically engaged to support those involved in the program in relation to their experiences. This service is available to all participants for as long as they need it, it does not end.’
Tanya placed third with Vito, making $400,000 profit after selling their property for $3.8million.
