The Block’s Kristy and Brett left red-faced during live confrontation with a radio host who fails to recognise who they are: ‘I’ve never watched the show’

The Block’s Kristy and Brett were left red-faced when things took an awkward turn during their appearance on Fox’s Fifi, Fev & Nick on Thursday.

Kristy and Brett confronted host Nick Cody and accused him of creating negative press about the couple.

But the couple’s ambush backfired, when Cody said he didn’t even recognise the pair.

 ‘You’ve called us venomous on this show, you’ve called us bad people on this show … it’s very apparent what you want people to think of us,’ Brett said. 

They further implied the host may have had a hand in their landscaper Dan appearing on-air to dish about their on-screen disputes.

Fifi Box interjected, questioning which of out of the three radio hosts had used such derogatory terms.

Brett promptly pointed the finger at Cody, who had the perfect response.

‘Mate, I’ve actually never seen a frame of that show and I couldn’t care less,’ he said.

‘You’ve called us venomous on this show, you’ve called us bad people on this show … it’s very apparent what you want people to think of us,’ he fumed

Cody’s response was pure gold: ‘Mate, I’ve actually never seen a frame of that show and I couldn’t care less,’ he said

‘People arguing over building a house? I couldn’t care less. I haven’t heard a second of it. That’s the most hurtful thing anyone’s ever said – accusing me of watching The Block!’

As the interview progressed, Kristy and Brett couldn’t resist taking another jab, this time at Block competitors Eliza and Liberty.

The duo criticised the sisters’ claim that they’d need therapy if Kristy and Brett profited more on auction day.

Brett vented: ‘They said they need therapy if we win more money – do you know how spiteful that type of cr*p is?’.

‘They are ruining the experience for everyone else.’
