And Shaynna Blaze has now shared the tricks of her trade, revealing her top tips for buying the perfect house.

‘Location is always everything, it is where you want to live,’ Shaynna told 9Honey Homes on Tuesday.
‘Usually, the location you want to be, a lot of other people want to be there, so you’ve got to look at your compromises.’
She advised that making a list of priorities is key, explaining that a floor plan that favours open-plan living is paramount.
‘We all talk about kitchens and bathrooms, but they can be a lot of money. Make sure you have your open plan living with connection to the exterior of the house – that’s what everybody wants,’ she said.

Blaze also stressed the importance of waiting and not ‘panic buying’ when the market is ‘hot’ and prices are increasing.
She said a ‘cooler’ housing market will help to stop impulse buys that budding homeowners will later regret.
‘I feel now, when it’s starting to cool and settle, people feel like they can breathe and make a more calculated decision rather than just a quick, spur-of-the-moment decision,’ Shaynna explained.

The presenter is helping couples buy houses on the new Nine property show Buying Blind along with buyer’s agent Rich Harvey and builder and carpenter Marshal Keen.
The show was originally aired on Danish television and is made by the same production company behind the wildly successful Married At First Sight.
It follows six couples, who hand over their all their money to the three experts to buy a house for them that they have never seen.
