The Block’s Vito calls Mitch and Mark ‘pathetic’ for ‘ambushing’ their builder – after he was accused of cheating AGAIN by allowing tradesmen to work two hours ahead of schedule

Just when you thought the drama was over, another cheating scandal erupted on The Block.

On Sunday night’s explosive episode, Vito Guccione stormed over and called Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie ‘pathetic’ for ‘ambushing’ their builder on site.

Earlier on, Mitch and Mark noticed how tradesmen were arriving to Vito and Tanya’s house two hours early ahead of schedule, accusing the pair of cheating yet again.

More drama! The Block’s Vito Guccione (far left) called Mitch Edwards and Mark McKie (both far right) ‘pathetic’ on Sunday’s episode for ‘ambushing’ their builder, after he was accused of cheating AGAIN by allowing their tradesmen to work two hours ahead of schedule

Upon hearing from their builder Andrew that he was ‘ambushed’ and given a ‘dressing down’ by his early arrival, Vito stormed over and asked Mitch and Mark, ‘What’s your problem? Why give Andrew a hard time?’

After continuously denying they were in any way ‘aggressive’ and refusing to discuss the situation further, a furious Vito called the design duo ‘pathetic’.

‘You’re just pathetic, honestly. Pathetic people you are,’ he said.

Unable to brush off the remarks, Mitch stormed over to Vito and Tanya’s house.

‘How dare you think you can get away with that?’ Mitch reflected in a piece to camera. ‘And I thought, actually you’re not going to get away with it.’

Confronting Vito and his builder, Mitch insisted he ‘did not give’ Andrew ‘a hard time’ and remained confident in saying he was in no means ‘aggressive’.

Supporting Mitch, Mark strode over and said he’s ‘heard’ about Vito’s ‘aggressiveness’, once again reminding him about the rules of the renovation show.

‘The rules are very clear. On a Saturday, you cannot have trades on site before nine o’clock,’ he instructed, which Vito was not having, stating that he’s ‘not the boss’.

At their wits’ end, Mitch and Mark brought up the cheating scandal involving the leaked photo of the production schedule, calling out the pair for being ‘liars’.

‘You guys took a photo of the schedule… of the f***ing schedule in week one and f***ed everything up!’ Mark raged.

Mitch added: ‘I think you’re a liar and a cheat.’

Tension between the contestants first began when Ronnie and Georgia Caceres, who are considered ‘sticklers for rules’, were determined to find out who leaked a photo of the production schedule.

Vito and Tanya, who claimed to have not taken the photo but shared it with Josh and Luke Packham, received a penalty alongside the twins from host Scott Cam during basement week.

Tanya and Vito have taken offence to accusations of ‘cheating’, with Vito having stormed off set in a previous episode.

The Block continues Monday at 7.30pm on Channel Nine
