Nearly 50 years after The Brady Bunch first aired, the cast of the iconic series has reunited to renovate the original Brady home.
HGTV purchased the original Studio City, California home that was used for the exteriors on the series, which will be renovated to its 1970s glory by the cast members and stars from other HGTV shows.
This will all be filmed for a new TV special A Very Brady Renovation, airing on HGTV sometime in 2019.

This marks the first time in 14 years that all six Brady siblings – Maureen McCormack (Marsha), Christopher Knight (Peter), Susan Olsen (Cindy), Mike Lookinland (Bobby), Eve Plumb (Jan) and Barry Williams (Greg) – were seen together.
They were joined by the stars of several other HGTV shows, such as Jonathan and Drew Scott from Property Brothers, Mina Starsiak and Karen E Laine from Good Bones, Leanne and Steve Ford from Restored by the Fords, Jasmine Roth from Hidden Potential and Lara Spencer from Flea Market Flip for an on-camera walk-through of the home on Thursday.
‘What’s so exciting about this project is that we are creating one of the most iconic homes from many of our viewers’ childhoods,’ said Loren Ruch, senior vice president, HGTV programming and partnerships.

‘It will be the first time in history that the house from all of our memories will be created in a real brick-and-mortar location. It is certain to be a trip down memory lane,’ Ruch added.
N’Sync singer Lance Bass originally announced in August that he was buying the iconic home for $1.9 million, just a month after it went on the market.
Bass was later informed by the realtor that he was ‘outbid’ by a Hollywood studio, with HGTV paying $3 million for the home.

HGTV also teased that there will be a number of ‘celebrity guests and drop-bys’ throughout the course of production.

The Brady Bunch, created by Sherwood Schwartz, debuted in 1969 and ran for five seasons until 1974.
The show ultimately became a pop culture phenomenon, spawning The Brady Bunch Movie in 1995, and A Very Brady Sequel in 1996.
The series also starred Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as the parents, Mike and Carol Brady, with Ann B. Lewis playing the maid Alice.
