The couple, who first began dating earlier this year, gushed about their romance in a joint interview, with Mark adding he’s a ‘very very lucky man’ to be with her.

Speaking to The Sun On Sunday, Mark said: ”I mean, look at her. I keep finding myself going, ”Hang on, we’re actually going out?”.

‘I don’t want to make her blush, but 15 years ago I was a maths teacher, I was 29st. I’m a very, very lucky man.

‘I’ve got the job I was born to do and, in Hayley, someone to share it all with.’

The couple started dating nine months ago and have been going strong ever since.

The advice they’ve shared in order to keep a relationship strong, is to generally get on very well but also joked that they ‘never share chips.’

Mark revealed that he visited Portsmouth to met Hayley’s parents for the first time not too long ago, as well as Suki her dog.

GB News entertainment reporter, Hayley, has also met Mark’s friends and family including Anne Hegerty, also known as The Governess.

Unfortunately the happy couple have faced some unwarranted opinions on their relationship however both Mark and Hayley have put that down to other people just wanting a say based on their own lives.

Mark is currently living in Rotherham so he can be close to his five-year-old son, whom he shares with ex-wife Katie.

Hayley however lives in London and therefore the two of them are committed to travelling approximately 3 hours to see each other.

When Mark and Hayley do spend time together they always relish in the moment and make sure it is good hearty quality time, with little desire to do anything overly flashy.

According to Hayley, Mark is her biggest fan and completely understands the struggle of a work-life balance with a relationship and a storming career.

Mark was recently in the news for loosing weight after an appearance on Loose Women.

Mark revealed the real way he has managed to lose weight and once again denied that he had a gastric band fitted.

He said: ‘I think one of the pluses of having what may or may not have been Covid a few times is that I just lost my appetite.

‘My appetite is nothing like it once was. Get one of your doctors to check me for a gastric band scar. They won’t find it!’

The star previously revealed to The Sun that while he was tempted to go under the knife he instead decided to get fit and healthy the old fashioned way.
