Planning will already be under way for brides across the country who are set to tie the knot this year.
And when it comes to the bridesmaids, there’s only one colour they’ll want to be wearing this year, according to trend forecasters.
Experts at Wedding Wire say that Nostalgia Rose will be the ‘It’ colour for those supporting the bride down the aisle in 2018.
The elegant Pantone shade is a mix between dusky pink and mauve, making it perfect for bridesmaids gowns.

Nostalgia Rose featured in countless 2018 bridal collections and is a richer colour than the blush pink and lilac shades often chosen for bridesmaids dresses.
The colour is also softer and more subtle than Ultra Violet, the Pantone colour of 2018.
Meanwhile, trend forecasters say velvet is also set to make a comeback when it comes to bridesmaids dresses at autumn and winter weddings.
It comes after leading designers predicted their biggest bridal trends for 2018, including removable skirts, plunging necklines and delicate lace.

Designer Steven Khalil told FEMAIL: ‘Some of the major trends coming through for brides are plunging necklines.
‘Lots of embellishment and streamlined silhouettes are also big for the modern bride. Big dramatic removable skirts are also a strong trend right now, too.’
Joy Morris, design director of Pallas Couture, added: ‘[L]ace work next season is very delicate – with the gowns subtly glistening, rather than showing heavy lace work’.
Top wedding planners have also revealed their biggest trends for this year, including marble dancefloors and moody bouquets.
Other trends to look out for include ‘living’ bars covered in freshly cut foliage,m translucent tents, and edible place cards.
