Fans are getting a glimpse into life for The Conners without matriarch Roseanne at the helm.
A new promo for the much-anticipated Roseanne TV spinoff was released on Monday and it begs the question: what’s next for Dan, Jackie, Darlene and the rest of the family?
The clip reintroduces many of the beloved characters that Roseanne fans have to come to love over the years.

And they are already thinking the holidays.

He’s back! Co-star John Goodman retuns as Dan Conner
Aside from their holiday plans, not much more is revealed about the upcoming premiere of The Conners in the promo.
In an interview with the UK’s The Times in August, co-star John Goodman insinuated that Barr’s character has been killed off for the upcoming spinoff.
Roseanne Barr, herself, said her character will die from a drug overdose during an appearance on the YouTube show Walk Away last week.

The show must go on: ABC announced it was reviving the show without Roseanne in June
Barr was fired from the hit show in May after sending a racist tweet about Valerie Jarrett, a former adviser for former-President Barack Obama.
ABC revealed in June that it was reviving the show with everyone but Roseanne, who would have ‘no financial or creative involvement in the new series.’
The ABC sitcom was teased in a number of new photos released last month.
The Conners makes its make-anticipated debut October 16 on ABC.
