The dark side of OnlyFans: US model Hannah Palmer shares ‘stalker from hell’ stories

A young model and OnlyFans star has been left feeling ‘violated and unsafe’ after a string of horrendous stalker encounters.

Hannah Palmer joined the adults-only platform OnlyFans in March 2021 and claims to have made $5million since then. But the wealth and job of being in the public eye has come with some serious downsides regarding her privacy.

The 24-year-old from the US, who boasts 2.2million Instagram followers, told FEMAIL a stalker followed her ‘everywhere’, broke into her mother’s house demanding to meet her, recorded her in her apartment and posted the footage online.

It got to the point where she needed to call the FBI on one occasion and bought a second phone in an attempt to keep her number hidden from strangers.

‘I’ve hired a company to help manage my cyber security, which has helped me feel safer and more protected,’ Hannah told Daily Mail Australia.

‘There have been times when I’ve been scared in my own home; It’s a bit concerning, because even though I try to hide my home and private information from the public, influencers aren’t able to provide themselves with much security or privacy despite being at risk of this type of behaviour from fans,’ Hannah said.

The model’s very first encounter with a stalker took place in 2019 in her Los Angeles apartment without her knowing.

She claims a man was recording her through a window from his apartment across the courtyard.

What you should consider before joining OnlyFans:

Think about the risks with posting adults-only content on the internet

Consider getting a second phone for business purposes

Be careful who you interact with

Avoid using geo tags on Instagram – don’t disclose your location

Have a P.O. box for ‘fan mail’

Never reveal your personal information

Understand the odd requests you might receive and whether you feel comfortable with this

‘He would wait for me to use my balcony to record me there and the videos were posted online on some questionable websites,’ she claims.

Hannah eventually found out about the recording by Googling her own name to ‘see what would show up’ and with some light digging around the internet, she discovered the videos of herself and others in the building.

‘When we found this out, we discovered he was doing the same thing with about five other girls (that we knew of),’ she said.

‘I contacted the police, who told me to contact the FBI since it was a cyber issue, which I then did. I never heard back from them.’

Hannah said the ‘worst’ stalker experience she’s ever had occurred shortly after she moved into a new home last year.

‘I started receiving texts from an unknown number, including pictures of my house taken from their (the neighbour’s) backyard, pictures of the inside of my house from Zillow, and disgusting verbal harassment,’ she claims.

‘He also made threats, both violent and sexual, to myself and my family.’

She contacted the police who came to the house to conduct a full report, which Hannah said was filed.

‘Then I had to file an injunction in court in order to take legal safety. So there’s now a restraining order against them due to the violent and sexual threats, in fear that they may some day come to my house. Nothing has happened since then,’ she said.

'I wasn't posting where I was, but friends of mine would. Somehow he would use the posts to find where we were. We wouldn't even tag the businesses or locations,' she said. 'It wasn't dangerous, but it was weird. Whenever he showed up he would ask for pictures of my feet.'

‘Funnily enough my mum was receiving fan mail and phone calls, I’m not sure how people found her information,’ she said.

‘I’ve taken any precaution I can to hide my phone number and private information online. Since then I’ve invested in a state of the art home security system. And if I do have crazy stalkers again, I’ll file police reports, or restraining orders, if necessary.’
