The far-right German ‘pornstar’ who weaseled his way into Mar-a-Lago and scored a photo with Trump

A far-right German politician who’s accused of appearing in pornographic films scored a photo with Donald Trump on Election Day.

The Daily Beast on Tuesday identified 41-year-old Phillipp-Anders Rau as a guest of Trump’s at Mar-a-Lago as the Republican nominee cruised toward victory.

‘Being able to shake @realdonaldtrump’s hand as the one and only AfD member there on the day of his victory will be an everlasting memory,’ Rau posted to Instagram. ‘Let’s hope Donald Trump creates the renewal for his country that we in the AfD are planning for our country.’

Rau is running for a seat in the German parliament as part of the Alternative für Deutschland party, a far-right, anti-immigrant party that Germany’s intelligence service labeled as a ‘suspected extremist’ organization.

Last year several high-ranking members of AfD were outed for meeting with neo-Nazis on the subject of mass deportations.

The Secret Service told The Daily Beast that Rau – who denies appearing in porn films – was allowed to be in close contact with Trump because he was an invited guest to the Florida members-only club.

‘In this instance, this individual was physically screened and permitted to enter because he was included on a formal invitation,’ a Secret Service spokesperson told the publication, adding that Mar-a-Lago ‘is a private club that is open to members and their guests.’

The Secret Service did not say who invited Rau – nor did a Trump transition spokesperson respond to DailyMail.com’s inquiry on the matter.

Rau did not respond to the Daily Beast’s request for comment.

On Election Day, Rau was joined at Mar-a-Lago by Leonard Jäger, a far-right influencer who’s expressed homophobic views, pushed COVID-19 conspiracy theories and subscribes to the Reichsbürger movement, whose members reject the legitimacy of the modern German state.

The Secret Service spokesperson added that the Secret Service ‘works to ensure that all individuals entering a protected facility do not pose a safety risk.’

But that doesn’t mean guests can’t hurt the incoming president politically.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday in 2022, Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes – who has since gone viral for a ‘your body, my choice’ misogynist rant after Trump won reelection – and anti-Semitic rapper Kanye West dined with Trump at Mar-a-Lago.

It was West who brought Fuentes to the club.

That caused a major headache for the Trump campaign, as Trump had announced his 2024 reelection bid the week before.

‘Trump was very impressed but Trump didn’t know who he was,’ a source told NBC about Trump’s meeting with Fuentes at the time.

In a Truth Social post, Trump clarified that he ‘didn’t know’ Fuentes and that he had talked to West about business with the rapper ‘express[ing] no anti-Semitism.’

Rau isn’t as prominent a figure as Fuentes in the U.S., but he’s made waves in Germany due to explosive reporting from the regional newspaper Volksstimme, the Daily Beast detailed.

In August Rau denied appearing in pornographic films.

‘At no time have I made professional videos […]. I am neither a virgin nor a porn star,’ Rau said.

Weeks later, Volksstimme confirmed that there were publicly available adult films featuring the German politician.

In turn, Rau tried to sue the publication but a German court ruled in favor of the paper saying the AfD member ‘cannot invoke the fundamental protection of privacy’ because ‘he took part in a professional porn video shoot that was clearly intended for publication.’

Volksstimme also reported that Rau had been kicked out of the east German Magdeburg-Stendal University of Applied Sciences in 2015 due to doctoring his high school transcripts.

When Rau tried to fight the expulsion, his lawyer argued that he couldn’t be held responsible for his decisions during this time period because he was addicted to cocaine.

He was also previously convicted of theft for stealing around $1,590 of items from a hotel.

Additionally, Rau is currently undergoing bankruptcy proceedings, The Beast said.
