This is the moment a young Spurs mascot was seen excitedly preparing for a football match while doing a myriad of exercises – and melted hearts in the process.

In a video posted by Sky Sports on X formerly known as Twitter, the unnamed youngster can be seen leading a troupe of mascots in the football tunnel at Tottenham Hotspur stadium in North London.

The adorable boy was a gigantic ball of energy as he passionately completed a set of jumping jacks, pushups and quad stretches – without any rest in between.

Even more rib-tickling were his facial expressions, which showed he was as serious about the match as perhaps any other Premier League football player.

Speaking over the hilarious clip, a Sky Sports presenter described the moment as one for adults to learn from, saying: ‘A motto to live by. Fail to prepare, prepare to fail.

‘This guy is ready for kick off at the Tottenham Hotspur stadium. He is warmed up ready and to go – as are both sets of players’.

Clearly taken aback by the lad, she remarked: ‘He is just gorgeous’, meanwhile her co-host cheekily took a swipe at Tottenham, saying: ‘They’ve got that many injuries they might need him’.

She continued: ‘But we will bring you the game itself when it gets underway very shortly’.

At this point the boy can be seen relentlessly engaging in his personalised warm up regime, leaving both hosts in absolute stitches.

‘I tell you what, he will not have any issues with his quads for this game’ she concluded.

The short clip opens in the Tottenham Hotspur pre-game tunnel, with a line of young mascots eagerly awaiting their cue to descend onto the pitch.

The group of boys and girls can be seen pacing back and forth, perhaps both excited and nervous during the exciting moment – well all except two.

At the front of the line, the camera shows two mascots engaging in cardiovascular warm ups as they get primed and ready for the match.

However, one of the lads cracks it up a notch by bursting into set a of jumping jacks, before quickly hitting the floor to complete a set of pushups.

Showing no sign of tiredness, he then jumps up and pulls his left foot behind him to complete a quad stretch. After a few seconds he swaps legs and pulls his right leg behind him.

Another round of jumping jacks is up next, as is one more set of quad stretches – but this time around with a more pronounced facial expression.

Many marvelled at the boy’s antics, including one person who dubbed him the ‘upcoming Harry Kane’.

Another person concurred: ‘A future star right there’.

A ‘superhero’ is what one viewer called him: ‘Sounds like they could use a superhero! Ready for the showdown!’

‘Wow what a smart and energetic kid’ said another.

And in under 30 seconds, he’d already stolen the heart of one fan: ‘My favourite Spurs player’.
