The family first gained notoriety in 2003, when police searched their home and found £12,000 cash, much of it hidden under a water bed.
A court heard the family was claiming about £2,000 a month in benefits but was not paying any rent or council tax.
Janis Gabriel, then 46, was convicted of possessing criminal property, while her husband John faced no charges.

In 2006, the conviction was quashed by the Court of Appeal after it was ruled that the judge in the 2004 case had been ‘flawed’ direction to the jury.
Janis and John’s sons Gavin and Shane have been convicted of various crimes in the 12 years since their mother’s successful appeal.
A court heard Gavin had four violence convictions whilst Shane has 15 offences on his record including a weapons charge and assault.
Last year, Shane was jailed for 10 months for dangerous driving following a police pursuit.
On February 1, 2018, Gavin, Shane and their sister Samantha appeared in court following a brawl in a local pub.
Both men admitted assault occasioning actual bodily harm while Samantha admitted to affray.
