The Goldbergs actor Jackson Odell is found dead in a sober living home in California, aged 20

The Goldbergs actor Jackson Odell has died. He was 20 years old.

Odell was reportedly found unresponsive in a sober living home in San Fernando Valley home on Friday.

According to police, there was no signs of foul play.

Authorities said an investigation is ongoing and details surrounding the actor’s death have not been released. 

Odell, who launched his acting career at the age of 12, also starred in Judy Moody, Not Bummer Summer and in several hit TV shows including iCarly, Arrested Development and Modern Family. 

The Colorado native was also a successful singer and songwriter.

He wrote several songs for the soundtrack of Forever My Girl, which launched earlier this year. 

One of his final interviews took place on the red carpet during the movie launch in January. 

Odell told reporters at the that he thought the soundtrack was some of his ‘best work,’ and called the opportunity to work on the film an ‘amazing experience’.
