Joan Vassos has been announced as the very first Golden Bachelorette.
The 61-year-old vied for Gerry Turner’s heart on the very first season of The Golden Bachelor but decided to depart the show early to take care of her daughter.
‘I’m Joan and I’m your first Golden Bachelorette,’ Vassos said in video announcing her new role.
It comes just a month after Gerry’s marriage with his final rose pick, Theresa Nist, crumbled.
