The bestselling swimsuit on online retailer The Iconic this year was this $79 bikini from Australian designer Lioness

Mareile Osthus of The Iconic said the online retailer works hard to reflect its ‘incredibly diverse customer base’ with suits available in a ‘variety of price points’.

‘We have seen brands like Lioness and Atmos&Here selling like wildfire given both brands offer the latest trends at fantastic prices,’ she told Daily Mail Australia.

‘On the other end of the spectrum, we launched a number of premium brands such as Fella Swim to service our customers who are looking for more high-end fashion options this summer season.’

‘Black is of course always a great choice for swimwear and we’re seeing both Seafolly and Speedo selling well across the country as we head into Christmas and New Year.’

When it came to the top-selling shoe on the popular retailer site, this year’s best seller was unisex favourite Converse – which held firm to its top spot.

Far more surprising was the popularity of Adidas Originals’ Stan Smith, which sold a whopping 45,678 pairs on the website this year.

According to the fashion retailer’s 2017 Year in Fashion data report, the unassuming leather tennis sneaker is an Aussie favourite – shifting an impressive amount units in 2017.
