The ingenious beauty invention loved by Shark Tank and Khloe Kardashian

Australian inventor Gabrielle Requena might have just stumbled on the magical cure-all for wrinkles – and she did it in her sleep.

She was tired of waking up with creases on her décolletage and many years in the harsh Down Under sun had left the skin on her neck and around her eyes dry.

And while there are hundreds of serums and ointments promising to reduce the wrinkles in these stubborn problem areas – Ms Requena found that nothing worked.

The oddly shaped sheet mask can be placed on your neck, chest, eyes, forehead, mouth and hands to dramatically reduce the signs of ageing

So she created her own solution using a silicone ‘chest plate’ she dubbed Wrinkles Schminkles.

The oddly shaped sheet mask can be placed on your neck, chest, eyes, forehead, mouth and hands to dramatically reduce the signs of ageing – and you can do it while you sleep.

Simply remove the backing on the mask and place it on the desired area and allow the medical-grade silicone to work its magic. And the best part? It can be reused a further 20 or 30 times – getting you the most out of your money.

Silicone is scientifically proven to heal scars and is used by doctors to treat patients post-surgery.

Ms Requena harnessed that same idea in her smoothing and hydrating formulations and sells them online for $42 a pack.

‘When you apply our silicone pads your skin cannot crease to cause wrinkles,’ the website explained.

‘The pads (approximately 2mm thick) are kept in place – comfortably and securely -using the convenience of adhesive silicone.

‘The placement of the pad on your skin brings blood flow to the surface, which can help to stimulate collagen – visibly softening wrinkles while you sleep.’

The business, which has been operating for three years, will gain even more traction on Tuesday night when the founder of Wrinkles Schminkles enters the Shark Tank.

She will be selling her idea to investors like Boost Juice founder Janine Allis, who already appear very interested in the company
