Similarly to the face and body version, the vaginal version stimulates cells with radiofrequency technology and helps to restore the production of collagen and elastin.
‘Combined, this tightens the vaginal skin, rejuvenates the vaginal lining, and improves function,’ Dr. Rai told Glamour.
‘It is a safe and effective procedure with minimal risks, downtime or side effects, and it has been FDA cleared and declared suitable for all skin types.
Dr. Rai suggested combining Morpheus8 V with other non-surgical treatments that help to enhance vaginal health too, such as V Tone, which a intravaginal muscle stimulation, and Forma V, which remodels tissue externally by using the heat from radio frequencies.
She revealed that each vaginal session lasts for 30 minutes and will target both external and internal areas of the vagina.
And if you’re worried about how much it will hurt, you’re in luck, as Dr. Rai revealed it ‘isn’t as painful as it may seem.’
‘The walls of the vagina don’t feel pain as much as other areas on the body (designed for childbirth!), and most patients say they feel a sensation but nothing compared to what they thought it might be,’ she added.
Now, many are looking to Kim to see if she’ll keep up her love for the laser treatment by getting its new vaginal version. Only time will tell.
