The Lost Boys star Jason Patric’s brother Jordan Miller is dead at 56 – after being hit by a bus while crossing the street in New Jersey

The Lost Boys star Jason Patric’s brother has been struck and killed by a bus while crossing a street in New Jersey, it was reported on Friday.

Joshua John Miller, who is a year younger than his famous half-brother, was walking across the street in Fort Lee on Wednesday afternoon when the incident took place, according to TMZ.

Law enforcement sources told the publication that Miller was struck by a New Jersey Transit bus as it was making a left turn, according to a preliminary police account.

Miller was then rushed to a hospital in critical condition, but was later pronounced dead. He was 56.

He worked as a customer service representative at the Port Authority Bus Terminal in Midtown Manhattan. 

DailyMail.com has reached out to representatives for Patric, 57, who have refused to comment. 

The incident is now under investigation by the Fort Lee Police Department.

Patric, born John Anthony Miller III, is a well-known Hollywood actor famous for his roles in The Lost Boys, Rush, Sleepers, Geronimo: An American Legend, Your Friends & Neighbors, Narc, The Losers and The Alamo.

He also famously played the male lead in Speed 2: Cruise Control alongside Sandra Bullock. 

Patric’s father was actor and playwright Jason Miller and his maternal grandfather was actor Jackie Gleason.
