Snail’s detailed costume impressed the panelists and guest host Niecy Nash, 51, who stepped in for regular host Nick Cannon, 40, after it was revealed last month that he had tested positive for the coronavirus.

Niecy at the start of the show surprised the panelists who were expecting Nick and sent ‘great vibes’ to him while stating they hoped to see him ‘later in the season’.

Snail competed against Russian Dolls, Seashell, Robopine and Raccoon during the one-hour season premiere and finished in last place in viewer voting after they all performed.

Niecy revealed the First Impression guesses that Robin Thicke, 44; Ken Jeong, 51; Jenny McCarthy, 48, and Nicole made after Snail’s performance.

Robin had guessed Seth MacFarlane, 47, and stuck with his pick, while Ken also stayed with his initial guess of Jay Leno, 70.

Jenny admitted that she was venturing ‘way out in left field’ as she abandoned her initial pick of Adam Carolla, 56, and instead chose US Senator Ted Cruz, 50.

‘Okay, you are swinging for the fences,’ quipped Niecy.
