Woolworths have slashed the price of their ever-popular ‘bag for good’ shopping bags to 50 cents from 99 cents until the new year.
The retail giant said the sturdy green shopping bags are a necessity over the holiday season given their sturdiness.
‘These sturdy bags come in handy over the festive season, not only for big Christmas shops, but for picnics and transporting supplies to the family celebrations we hope to enjoy this year,’ they said.
Woolworths have revealed they will slash the price of their ever-popular ‘bag for good’ shopping bags until the new year
A Woolworths spokesperson said Christmas is the busiest time for the retail giant and that they want to help their customers save.
‘The majority of our customers use reusable bags when they shop,’ they said.
The shop for good bags are popular because they basically come with a lifetime guarantee.
The shopping bags can be swapped for new ones at any Woolworths supermarket once they become damaged, no matter how old they are.
The promise is written on the front of every bag.
The retail giant said the sturdy green shopping bags are a necessity over the holiday season given their sturdiness
‘Use this bag again and again. If it becomes damaged we will replace it for free.’
Prices for more than 200 of the retailer’s popular stock lines have been cut for the festive season including Arnott’s biscuits, smoked salmon, roasts and Lindt pouches.
The bags will remain at 50c until January 11, 2022.
