‘Cheers to you my funny and fantastic Laz, our incredibly dedicated team and all of you who watch. And shout-out to our Floor Manager Tom. With us since day 1 in 2007 and still there today,’ she continued.

Larry also celebrated the occasion with an Instagram post, saying: ’17 YEARS TODAY!!! 17 years of TV marriage, that’s longer than most non-tv marriages. Thanks for all the fun, the Kardashian chats, the laughs, and support @kyliegillies.’

‘Huge congrats to our perfect @morningshowon7 tribe. I love this show soooooo much ❤️ And of course thanks to all of you for keeping us number 1 in the ratings for 17 consecutive fantastic years,’ he added.

In May, Larry opened up about his secret to maintaining a successful career in the media for over 35 years.

He revealed his success ultimately came down to a positive attitude.

‘You’ve got no way of dictating the future. One audition to the next, those contracts can be a one month stint or even one episode,’ he told The Daily Telegraph.

‘I like to think I’ve been nice. When a show gets axed people can show varying levels of respect. I’ve always been grateful for any opportunity and been a reasonable character in a real cat fight of a business.’

Larry added he ensured he had a successful side gig to to fall back on should he stop getting offered presenting work.

‘I learnt very early that I can’t rely on TV. I’m very interested in property, that’s my side hustle. For many years of my life TV for me, as far as a bank balance, was my part-time job.’
