The Price family all work as professional models

A family-of-five are being dubbed Britain’s best looking family as mum, dad, three children and even the dog work as professional models.

The Price family, from Stratford Upon Avon, have appeared in adverts for many of Britain’s top brands, shooting campaigns from Sainsbury’s to Barclays, earning around £2,500 per shoot.

Mum Emma, 34, dad Christopher and kids Millie, 6, Oscar, 5 and Maisie, 2, are naturals in front of the camera and love working together – along with dog Whiskey.

The only member of the family who isn’t invited on shoots is their cat, Teddy – who they claim is too grumpy to be interested.

The family, who are signed by DK Models, has appeared in more than 20 shoots together and are estimated to have earned £52,500 in just 18 months of modelling as a family.

As well as it being a money spinner Emma says modelling actually gives them more family time together.

She said: ‘I started modelling when I was in my early teens and then I went off to university and did my own thing there, it’s always been in my life but I didn’t think I could make a career about it.

‘The family modelling came about quite recently, about 18 months ago and it’s what we really enjoy doing now.

‘Sometimes our dog Whiskey comes modelling with us – he’s 14 and doesn’t get out now as he’s quite old, so we think it’s nice for him to have bit of excitement.

‘The cat hasn’t had any offers yet though, but he’s quite grumpy.

‘I’ve just watched their confidence grow – to see them progress is brilliant. Sometimes there are a lot of people in involved it can be daunting for an adult, let alone a child, but it just never fazes them.

The family say that it’s often like going on holiday, but they work so well together because it’s all natural and they’re just enjoying being together as a family.

Emma and Christopher were thrilled to be promoted from just escorting their kids to shoots, to joining them.

‘The family stuff came about from having the kids and their agent approached us – we thought we were just the taxi drivers, but they thought it would be more realistic with us involved.

‘It enabled us to be real and normal – they’d take pictures of us and it was just something very natural for us all.

‘We love our model adventures – every job is like a little adventure for us.

‘We did something for Asda and it was pretty and quite rural, so it was like being on holiday – the kids were in their element.

‘We had to pretend to have a Christmas party, Easter and like we’d just been skiing. It was all these new experiences for the kids.

‘At first we didn’t know how it was going to go, but they just ask all the time – ‘when are we going to do the next one mummy?’

Dad Christopher works in aviation but enjoys going on shoots with the family in his spare time.

Even though the children do individual shoots, they like to hold off on doing too much work separately to make sure they have time to their modelling together as a family.

Emma added: ‘I feel like the pressure is taken off you when you’re doing it in a family, as opposed to doing it solo. I love being a mum, so for me it’s very natural and getting paid to do the job with my family is the dream, as I’m with them so much.

‘Sometimes I’m feeling nervous, the kids just are running around doing what they’re best at – they just get on with it.

‘We do tend to have quite good boundaries – they kids know it’s going to be fun, so they don’t push it too far.

‘When we’re on a shoot every day is a different adventure for us all -the memories we’re making are very special and if we’ didn’t do the shoots we might not make the time to do them. Weirdly it gives us more quality family time, even though we’re working.’

‘I hope to carry on, even when kids have retired, we’ve done a few bits and pieces on our own and I think we’ll just keep going.

‘We’re quite flavour of the month right now, but I’ve been told the kids are at quite a good age for it.’
