The Project NZ host makes a X-rated slip-up live on-air… reminding viewers of Carrie Bickmore’s ‘Qantas’ gaffe

The Project New Zealand host Kanoa Lloyd made an X-rated gaffe live on-air.

The 36-year-old was presenting a segment on Roses chocolates when she messed up her pronunciation of ‘comeback’.

‘Longtime fans of Cadbury chocolates will be saying thank you very much with the return of three original flavours,’ she began.

‘After getting ditched In 2018, strawberry creme, orange creme and peppermint creme are making a c**box,’ she said.

Quickly realising the mistake she tried covered her face while breaking into fits of laughter.

‘Comeback is the term I believe,’ her co-host Patrick Gower said.

‘It’s not a nightmare we are actually on live TV,’ he added as Kanoa couldn’t control her laughter.

The incident is similar to former The Project Australia host Carrie Bickmore accidentally saying the C-word during a segment about a price war between Qantas and Virgin Australia in 2012.

‘Virgin’s targeting key corporate routes hoping to win over C***-tas, excuse me, Qantas customers,’ she said before laughing.

Without missing a beat, Carrie’s then co-host Charlie Pickering quipped: ‘That address you’ll need is YouTube.com.’

Carrie later took to Twitter with an apology, writing: ‘Any publicity is good publicity right??!! Sorry @qantasairways and my nan.’
